Jill told Colin that she was not stupid and knew he had arranged for someone to steal her necklace. After hearing the story from Jack about Billy being in the SUV with Adam when it crashed and burned, Jill checked in with Billy at the hospital. Neil took a sobbing Lily into the church to talk. Jill eventually found herself working for Jabot, and began dating the cosmetics companys owner, John Abbott. Cane went home to tell Lily the truth about him and that Colin was his father, but she was at the church waiting for him, ready to forgive him. Not long after, Devon learned that Hilary had been found by Neil, and he knew where she was. Jill and Cane made peace, and Cane convinced her to come back to Chancellor and run the BioTech (medical research) Division. When Jill was shot, the main suspects were John, Jack, and Katherine, but it turned out to be Sven, a masseur who Jill had rejected. Mariah had Summer give her money to bride the bartender into stripping. They went to court and Jills lawyer put Laurens mother, Joanna Manning, on the stand. She started attending widow's grief counseling to be with him, but her competition was Jill, one of her few friends. So after this whole Fenmore fiasco, and with Robert now deceased Barbara can now go out and find her first born child which is Jill. They ended up sleeping together that night. During this time, Jill suffered a heart attack and after reconciling with Colin, they left Genoa City to travel together. She had an affair with Victor Newman, but realizing he was never going to marry her, returned to John and they tied the knot again. Rex Sterling After returning to Genoa City, Billy found on the Internet that the gift, which he had peeked at, was a priceless antique gun. He had had a boatig accident, hit his head and lost his memory. The vows were spoken informally about second chances, and they exchanged both their old and new rings.
